Cleaning House

2 more days (on Jan 1st!) and I'll be halfway through my 108-day program. February 19 marks my 108th day. So, I've gone from from a size 18 to 16. I'm hoping I can get to a 12 or 14 by the end of my 108 days.
I just re-watched "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" part 1 this weekend and am inspired to do a proper reboot. It means juices for 30 days. From there, I'd return to the program I am currently on and then, every 30 days, I would slowly add. Say on February 20, I begin a 30-day juice - done on Sat March 21. Then I return on March 22 (with seeds and nuts) and then add on Monday, April 20 - 1-2 servings of legumes per week. On May 20 - eggs 2 times a week. Then on June 20 - 1-2 servings of fish 2 times a week - and then, after I have reached my goal, around August or September, I will add some grains (oatmeal, quinoa, brown rice) - about 1 cup 2-3 times per week (and that's it!!) and I will hold this pattern for the rest of my life doing an all-juice for 1-5 days every 3 months. The idea of adding food is a bit overwhelming - I can't fully wrap my head around it.
What I'd really like to focus on now is my exercise/fitness life. Yoga is going alright, although I still have knee discomfort. I always feel better on the days that I do elliptical, so I really need to get myself on the machine. I believe my body can transform. It already has. I have gone from being very tight and stiff to being a lot more mobile, strong and flexible.
What is very cool, though, is that I was just offered a permanent class slot at the yoga studio I have been subbing at. I will be officially on the teaching staff on Wednesday, January 8. This is such great news and I am so grateful for this opportunity. I am also so grateful that I'll be able to take yoga for free at this gorgeous studio. It's such a gift. I'm very fortunate and yoga is doing wonders for my spirit.
Cleaning house for the new year. On so many levels.
Hurray!
